TODAY.

Thanks for the faith in me, FinFins!.....recently finished a thirty (30) card order...had a lot of fun, and so psyched with the results...crafty mojo - stay with me!

Back in the groove...

SO, I spent the past two nights working on some cards.  I have to say - I FINALLY felt back in the crafting groove moreso than I have in months.  Lately it seems I spend more energy/effort into buying more supplies (total pigface considering I have so much stuff already - half of it unused as of today!) or cruising the web looking at other people's work, which while it's good for inspiration, hasn't really led me to begin creating.

Totally flaked on photos though - I'll upload some tonight.  Psyched about some of the papers I busted out (Sassafras - Sweet Marmalade!),

the use of new Fiskar's punches and some of my favorite quotes....(remember - I am an official quote FIEND, so most of my work will reflect that.)

Photos tonight - in the meantime, back to my bookkeeping day job.  Boooooooo!!

OK - so not going to lament lack of posts since March. Or begrudge those people/things in my life nuking my energy. Instead I'll steal a quote from Emerson:

I hate Mondays. At least it's raining. If it were nice outside, I'd really be bent.

One goal this week: I want to buy a typewriter. A plain ole' old school typewriter to use in a hurry-flurry-scurry when I'm throwing together a card or a book.....I'm an instantaneous, impatient person, so I'll want this like, now. Found a couple on Craig's list but debating how hard inking will be if I don't buy one that still has ribbons available. Hmmmm.....

Contemplating putting some mini album kits together for sale...
STILL need to garner more energy at night to MAKE STUFF! Maybe I should enter "get creative!" as a daily task on my stupid cell phone so it will alarm a direct reminder for me to get off my duff.

CCC Mini Album Swap!

OK - FINALLY upoaded photos and video of the mini I did for the Craft Craving Chicas swap a while back....my partner was Danielle and although her suggestion was an album based on her two teenage boys, I scrapped that after finding our Danielle had A LOT going on her life. She needed something for HER. Anyway, I used a kit I ordered from scrappinsusie@etsy.com and added alternating four inch square chipboard pages to build it up a bit. I had a lot of fun and won't lie...I wanted to keep it!
